Nate also started playing on a 4/5 year old soccer team. It is so cute to watch them run around and the progress they have made over the past couple of months. The first game was hilarious! We played an old 5 (maybe even a couple of 6yo in there) team and got crushed!!! We knew we were in trouble when the other team started running drills before the game even started! Ha! Our kids had NO idea what to do, but they had a great time. Normally play is 3 a side, but they let us toss in an extra player and it still didn't help. Nate had no idea about winning or losing and still is clueless. We will continue in that. He LOVES it and has a great time every week. Of course, I have only gotten a couple of pictures and next week is their last game, so I will have to get on the ball and post more after Saturday.
Luke is starting to get so old! He loves puzzles and will put them together by himself and entertain himself. His sentences are getting longer and longer and him and Nate are getting to be really good playmates. Luke is our little stinker. He will try to bug Nate whenever he can, saying the opposite of what Nate is saying just to get a rise out of him. And of course, my literal, by-the-book, rule follower, first born is driven CRAZY by it. Much to Luke's delight. Hook, line and sinker for Luke! It can be very frustrating to say the least. Luke is potty training himself right now to my dismay. I had planned on starting the process in early May after we get back from Hawaii, but out of nowhere he says he has to go potty on the toilet! Arg. About half the time he does it, which makes me think that he really is ready, even though I am not! (We just did this with Nate a year ago!) When Nate was 2.5, Luke's age now, Nate was potty training and about 90% of the way there, and then we took a family vacation to Sunriver and it was back to square one and pushed it back 6 months! So, I am vascillating between just keeping him in a diaper/pull-up and letting him do what he wants and me not pushing it at all, and praying that Hawaii won't throw everything off OR putting him in underwear and not going anywhere for a week and just deal with the accidents, but (hopefully) to have it solidified in 6 weeks by the time we leave for Maui. What do you think?

Miss Graciebell continues to be just the sweetest baby ever! And the belle of the ball around here. Her brothers LOVE her more and more ever day. She is 8 months old today! Don't ask me where the time went because I would swear that she was JUST born. She is rolling all over the place. She is not yet sitting up on her own or crawling, but that is just fine with me. (What do you expect from a 95/95 percentile height/weight girl?) She is very smiley and LOVES to be around her brothers. In fact, nobody can make her laugh quite like Nate. She laughs at him just standing there. So cute. We put all three in the bath together for the first time the other night. Since Gracie can't quite sit on her own yet, we popped the Bumbo into the bath (under careful watch) with the boys. They all loved it. Someday soon, bathtime with get easier with one round instead of the two required right now.

Here is Missy Girl with her first ponytail! So cute!
Adam is on a brief hiatus from his basketball league. Recently 2 of his friends have had serious injury's. One being out 6 weeks, and another out for a year! This is a bit scary to him as it would seriously hinder his profession if he were to sustain a serious injury like that. At the same time, sports and activity are a great stress reliever so finding a balence and praying for injury's to pass over this house so he can continue to play the sports he so dearly loves! Work continues to fulfilling and stressfull. As mentioned earlier, we headed to Maui for a week in April so that will be a great break from work and the rain.
Love,
The Sheron's
